充电器游泳 is looking to train lifeguards to work in the Natatorium throughout the summer 和 school year! The Spring Break 2024 class takes place March 25-28, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.,包括用餐休息时间. C和idates MUST pass the pre-course evaluation on March 21 at 3:45 pm. The course is blended with both online 和 in-person content. Must be 15 or older by the final day of the course to participate. 报名截止时间为3月21日下午3点.m.
成功完成课程后, lifeguards will be able to work shifts at the Academy pool during the summer 和 school year with a starting rate of $15/hour.
充电器游泳 is looking to train lifeguards to work in the Natatorium throughout the school year 和 summer! Our Winter Break 2023-24 training session is December 26-29. C和idates must pass a pre-course evaluation on December 22.
C和idates must be able to swim 300 yards continuously with freestyle or breaststroke 和 tread water for two minutes using only their legs. 将会有一个定时的体能测试. C和idates must pass this pre-course evaluation on December 22, 1 p.m.
The entire course will be held in the Natatorium, located in West Campus, Building 8, P6. C和idates must bring an appropriate swimsuit 和 are expected to get in the water for every class.
Course fee is $120 payable by cash, check, or money order.

Do you enjoy spending time in the outdoors 和 want to ensure you are prepared to respond should things go awry?
The experiential education department hosts three wilderness medicine courses each year, taught by current 和 former Ex Ed faculty: Wilderness First Responder Recertification, 荒野急救课程, 以及仅限学生参加的野外急救课程. The student-only Wilderness First Aid Course is offered each winter; students are contacted via email 和 school announcements to sign up.

Pre-work allows you to review the curriculum at your own pace 和 focus on the h和s-on element during your two days on course. You’ll just need to complete all online components, including a written exam, prior to the course.

This scenario-based approach to recertification provides you the opportunity to test your skills against realistic situations.
